Jason Tahir ’11 was a scholar-athlete at The Harley School. While keeping his grade point average up, he was named the All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year for tennis in 2007, 2009, and 2011. He won the New York state doubles title as an 8th grader. Jason continued his tennis career at Duke University and finished with a top 10 ranking in the Duke record books for single wins, doubles wins, and overall wins. He also continued to thrive academically, achieving the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll all four years. Jason remained at Duke after graduation; he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in management and is a volunteer coach for the men’s tennis team.
